Shaykh al-Muhammady will give you the perfect basis of Maliki fiqh. Not only that, he will prepare you to dive deeper into

Maliki fiqh in subsequent courses.

In this course you will study Imam Ahmad ibn Turki’s book “Jawahir el-Zakiyya” with Dr. Mohamed al-Muhammady.  

The book, Jawahi el-Zakiyya, is one of Al-Azhar’s traditionally taught books as it is considered an essential explanation to “The Ashmawiya” text. The course will be split up into two parts, spanning 32 live lectures with the Sheikh over two months. This course is part 1.

Students will be given quizzes to insure that they properly understand the content of the book.

This course is taught in Arabic.

Your Instructor

Shaykh Muhammad al-Muhammady


Shaykh al-Muhammady currently serves on the board of teachers in Al-Azhar University as well as works in Dar al-Ifta Egypt. He hold a bachelors degree from Al-Azhar’s Dawah college and another degree from Al-Azhar’s Shariah College. He received his PhD in Dawah.

He is certified to teach by various scholars in Egypt in a variety of sciences. He will teach Arabic, Hadith Terminology and Maliki Fiqh.

All students on a scholarship have to maintain a 70% score on all assignments and quizzes, as well as attend all lessons.
